Bernie

Bernie was surrendered to us with atresia ani. This is a rare birth defect where the anal opening fails to develop and remains blocked by a membrane. She’s three weeks old, so as you can imagine she was in extreme pain and discomfort from not ever being able to pass stool!

We didn’t mess about - we called multiple of our vet practices (both England and Scotland) to find out who was confident in the surgery and who could get her in straight away. We’re happy to say she’s seen the specialist and she’s on her way home after surgery. 

This was an urgent operation so we didn’t have time to fundraise, we’re now asking for your help to raise the £800 that her specialist surgery cost so that we can pay off her bill - any help would be so appreciated by Bernie and the team.
